The Paradise taverna is located on Achladies Beach serving up food all day. They specialise in Mediterranean cuisine. The focus here is great food and fantastic service and I have been unable to fault them on either.
The views that you get from the restaurant are beautiful whether you decided to go there in the day or the night. From its vantage point above Achladies Beach you can see islands in the background and the stunning blue Mediterranean. Every now and then a boat or two will pass you by as you enjoy your meal or glass of the house wine.
I think the things that Paradise do best are the service which as I said before is impeccable and sea food. You can not visit a Greek island without sampling the freshly caught delights from the Med, but you need to find a chef who knows what to do with them and in Paradise you wont be left wanting. The last meal of my trips to Skiathos is normally the seafood platter at Paradise.
Other highlights are the house red, cheap but very nice, the veal which is cooked in many different ways and the Baklava which is a lovely way to round off your meal, be warned though all meals come in very generous portions!!
The Paradise Taverna also have a little playground for children in the restaurant and have a weekly Greek night with traditional music and dance.
